First Class Tips
You can set up First Class so that it logs into your account automatically when you open the program.

Click on "Advanced" in the bottom right corner. - Click on "Setup."
- In the Setup menu, find "Login" and click on the box next to "Automatically."

First Class allows you to check the history of an email you've sent. You can see when a message was read and by whom. You can also unsend an email so that it no longer exists in the recipient's mailbox. NOTE: The History and Unsend feature only work for messages sent to other First Class users.
- Open your "Sent Items" folder in your mailbox.
Click on a message so that it opens. - On the toolbar, click "History" to check a message's history.
Click "Unsend" to remove the message from the recipient's mailbox.
- Open the First Class client. On the top bar of icons, select "Who's Online."
- Select a user from the "Who's Online" list and click "Instant Message." This will activate a chat to which the selected user will be invited.
- Once you've established a chat, you can invite additional users to participate. Just click where it says "Invite."
When composing mail with most email services, the "To" line appears above the "Subject" line. In First Class, the order of these lines is reversed. It is possible for First Class to emulate the layout of a typical email service so that the "To" line appears first.
- Log in to First Class.
- Mac users: Go to "First Class" and then "Preferences."
Windows users: Go to "Edit" and then "Preferences."
- In the preferences window, find "New Mail Form." Select "Outlook" from the drop down menu.
- Click "Apply" then "Save."
Suppose you have a file at home that will need to access from school. Rather than email it to yourself, First Class allows you to upload the file to your First Class account for later download.

On your desktop, click on the icon that says "File Storage." - To upload a file to the First Class server, click on the "Upload" icon and find your file. To download the file, click on the the file and then click "Download." Easy as pie.
